The Area

Great Barn Cottage, part of a 17th Century Grade II Listed barn, is located on Plum Lane in the idyllic Cotswold village of Shipton under Wychwood. The village is midway between Oxford and Cheltenham.

Shipton under Wychwood (part of the ancient Royal Hunting forest of Wychwood) is ideally located 5 minutes north of Burford and is within easy reach of Stow, Moreton in Marsh, Stratford, Woodstock (Blenheim Palace) and other Cotswold villages. A great location from which to explore.

The village is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and has been voted the Best Kept Cotswold Village in Oxfordshire. The Cottage is tucked away within its own secluded walled garden. An ideal place to stay.
